Disappointing

I used this book to teach a Masters' level molecular biology class and I was disappointed in this textbook. There were several typographical errors and the presentation of many topics was overly verbose. There were lengthy discussions of historical experiments leading up to the actual topic, which was often obscured by all of the discussion. I was also disappointed that long non-coding RNAs were not mentioned in this book.
I also had feedback from my students that they disliked the layout and wordiness of many of the chapters.

Great book! Really nice presentation of molecular history. I'll keep it for the rest of my life as a molecular biologist.
