the christian myth with a black face

Its the usual syncretizing here. Paul Boyd, goes from being objectively historical, to subjectively dogmatic by pg 100 up, preposing that the Christian belief of a Jesus christ is some how valid, despite any proof from sources outside of the christian world before and after. He goes on to assert that the creators of the Egyptian philosophy were polytheistic and paganistic, which shows that he doesn't know much about the Egyptian (KMT) symbolism or world philosophy.
There is a big difference between a Priest Artisans intent and a outside commoners interpretation, because different Egyptians paid homage to certain deities or more, does not mean that they did not recognize a supreme source, quite the contrary, Amen is representative of the Supreme source as the unseen or underlying cause of all manifested deities, deities representing the attributes of the source. But, one must channel through the deities for communication as all Africans didn't believe you could contact the source personally but had to go through It's mediums, which is the same as christians communicating to their god through the medium jesus. Something that Mr.Boyd is obviously not aware of, but forcibly makes a big deal about a Jesus being black when a lot of Semetic's didn't identify with their black side as they still don't, so, no need for an epiphany moment.
But, getting back on track, Mr. Boyd shows the influence of African spirituality in view of the African consensus influencing Europeans and Middle Easterners, and so on, but, somehow he goes into left field as to authenticate the bibles literature in relation to all African spirituality, by giving the unproven account of a jesus christ as the manifestation over and behind all African spiritual philosophy.
Being over zealous can create the illusion of superiority, inwhich all religions or spiritual philosophies, contain the truth in so far that it can be translated objectively as legit and 100% accurate across the board. Which, in Mr. Boyd's case, he fails to accomplish.
For example: he acknowledges, that Yoruba knows a supreme being and yet fails to see that the Orisa is identical to the KMT(Egyptians) neter, which is nothing more than the outward expressions of the Supreme(Self) in relation to relative experiencing, giving account to the KMT being much older than the Yoruba system, the similarities is just a matter of what costume the True Self will be wearing for each occasion, as it has already been proven that the Yoruba Ancestors the Nok, or enough of them, were descendants of KMT or at least, adopted by contact, KMT costumes. This is why there are so many similarities between the two, see: terra cotta pottery making and so on.
On closing, my rejection of this book is not on the grounds of how one will interpret the True Self(God), but on the grounds of one showing selective favoritism as to legitimize what they have accepted as the truth, and yet cannot verify objectively, such is the case of a jesus or yeshua existing in the way that christian fundies claim. There has been many accounts of Shamans through out history in Africa and abroad, healing people, but none ever claim that it was through a jesus of the Israelites that they work. God can't be define to favoritism of one group, all things in the Universe is the begotten of the so-called God.
Really ppl, if we need to alter what the Truth represents, then it is pointless to argue against who's side is more truer, especially when one ignores the principles of perception for their own selfish means, stop believing and start perceiving. nuff said!
